For her monthly author spotlight, Karen asked me to share a bit about Loftry University Playthings.
The way this series came about is similar to how most of my ideas come about. My husband and I are driving, and I get a random idea that pops into my head. Well, this one started with, “You know that movie, Eyes Wide Shut, right? Like, that's the aesthetic that I really love in BDSM. That right there. Wouldn't it be cool if there was that look but like at a prestigious college?” And from there, the story took a life of its own. The way I describe this series is sort of like Eyes Wide Shut meets The Skulls. With loads of sex. I have to give my husband a lot of the credit for my books because without him being able to play off of me and go back and forth with the conversations, none of these would be written.
I write contemporary and paranormal romance with varying levels of darkness. All my books, unless noted in a separate category, feature dubcon at a minimum. My books feature hot, possessive alpha males who don’t take no for an answer.
